Humanscale Liberty features a revolutionary patented technology - a design so advanced it earned a place in the Smithsonian Design Triennial.
Designer Niels Diffrient replaced the locks, knobs and levers that are under older generation chairs with your body weight and the laws of physics. It's almost as if it were made for the sitter. This means you can move effortlessly from one position to another.
It has a patented Form Sensing Mesh. Inspired by clothing design and combined with low stretch mesh, ensuring a personalised fit and maximum adaptability. Unlike traditional single-panel mesh chairs, Form Sensing Mesh takes on the exact shape of the sitter's back, as if it were made for them. Perfect for dynamic workspaces, Liberty promotes balanced movement for enhanced comfort throughout the day.
Liberty is Planet Positive. Its materials are free of harmful chemicals, is made with ocean plastic (for Liberty Ocean), post-consumer recycled content, and produced in TRUE Zero Waste facilities.
